2009 was a good one for me ... so much happened this year! Good things!
1. I was asked to produce Hunny Madu's first album and it's still going .. just one more song and then it's complete!
2. Won the title "Producer Of The Year" of Choons Awards.
3. I had so many tracks signed up to both local and international labels.
4. Performed as Bedroom Sanctuary and Mr. Fluff all over KL!
5. CosmicSpaceMunkys made a comeback at the Heineken Star Party @ Zouk KL.
6. Got a job that I enjoyed which is working on KL's #1 dance music show, TURN IT UP!
7. Performed at Rock The World 9 and had people singing along to "Malam Ini"!
8. Sold out Bedroom Sanctuary's Gemini album.
9. Found a new interest as a Host on UnseenTV KL!
10. Started skateboarding again that feels good!
11. Seven's first official single on the radio came to #1 on FLY FM's Campur Chart!
12. Bedroom Sanctuary's singles like "Once Again", "Her Spiral Necklace" & "Malam Ini" stayed on the charts for a while!
13. Interviewed Paul Van Dyke!
14. Met Jerome Sydenham in person.
15. I organized several successful parties, especially MOS with DJ Dayshavoo!
16. Produced so many tracks under the moniker Mr. Fluff and they are ready for release!
17. Wrote more songs for Seven & Bedroom Sanctuary!
18. Finally got a high tech phone (BlackBerry Curve 8520) hehe!
19. Reached up to 2000 followers on Facebook Pages! Woot woot!
20. Made new awesome friends!
21. Brian came back for good! woot woot! P.A.T.T. yo!
22. I am happy in my relationship even after all the fights & misunderstandings!
23. In realization, it's good to know that i can afford my rent & my own car with my own money! I'm all grown up!
Overall! 2009 has been the best & most successful year so far! I know it's successful when the total amount on my bank book tallied up nicely! Hehe!
I wanna wish everyone a happy new year! if 2012 is real, just party it out till then!

MOS was the SHEEEIT!
It was a Friday night and it was time for the first official gig at Ministry of Sound as Mr. Fluff.
We got there a wee bit early ... around 9.30pm and Sean was right on time. We didn't know we were supposed to start at 9.30pm. So anyways, Sean aka DJ Dayshavoo started and it was still quiet and being me, I forgot it was still damn early. Had a few drinks and chilled .. my Bebi was wearing what i call the Mario suit! It was red and only red and it was a mini jumpsuit. I admit she looked hot in it. Ma Bebeh So Sessay! Haha!
10.30pm came around and it was a little bit slow with Patrick and the other MOS crew saying that Fridays @ MOS is slow. So i "Kan Cheong" a bit. Thinking that it's just gonna be one of those loud nights with an empty dancefloor ...
11.30pm Sean dropped a major track for the dance floor, it worked very well. He played a remix of "I gotta feeling" where i was kinda ... meaaargh~ okay okay lah. But it worked well. the dance floor started filling up ...
12am .. it was my turn to spin .. started off with a Bingo Players remix of Special. Got on the mic and started hyping out the crowd as they were making some noise. When i mixed in the 2nd track which i can't remember at all what it was, I looked up and asked the lights guy, Michael Mah to turn the lights up and make it look damn happening ... there it was ... the moment of silence in my head, as if everything slowed down and just pure silence in my head ... This is a good night! The dancefloor was packed, beautiful people dancing and enjoying the night. I got wild and started playing the biggest of the biggest tracks and rocked the night away! it was like a massive rave party and i think there were more than 500 people at that party.
1am .. I can't believe the dancefloor was still packed and i was kinda tipsy and really wanted to go to the loo ... i dropped a track and rushed to the toilet and did whatever i had to lah. When i was done in the toilet i saw the wifey was not there .. i thought to myself maybe she went to the loo or went to the DEQ for a smoke. So i didn't bother lorr. The cool thing about that night was .. my friends & newly made ones were there. I was happy mang! I remembered Natalie was there, Eric & Amira, was there, the dudes from Raw was there too, Zaha was there and then suddenly, Esther came knocking on the glass and just barged into the console and making manja noises and she was fucked. She was drunk. Mixing beer & vodka. Funny thing too that she didn't remember at all that this moment happened .. I asked her to sit down on the chair but she dashed off as if I said something wrong. I was totally disappointed not because of her dashing off .. but the fact that it was a big night for me and yet she can just drink her ass off and not think or care about the night. I would love it if she remembered the whole night. But too bad.
1.45am .. Sean came into the console all drunk & excited, he stood infront of the console on the left and suddenly stopped the music accidentally. I was like "What?!?!" so i picked up the mic and covered the both of our asses and of course hyped up the crowd. It was a downer i admit, quickly fast forwarded the next track and brought it back up! Thank god for the cover. But the dancefloor was slowly clearing.
2am .. I passed the console over to Sean and we played back to back. His friends came and supported him by filling the dancefloor again. He saved it from having to have it go up again. Good Shit. So we played up to 2.45am and i took over and ended the night with Prince's Sexy Mother Fucker. I don't know why but i did it. Hehe!
Spoke to Michelle & Patrick and they said they were happy with the turn out. It was a good night thanks to all the PR on Facebook, Fly FM & Star Newspaper. I don't know how that got on but it did. hehe! Till the next round lah! I think from the first gig itself, without a proper launch, I think it's gonna be a good one .. i mean the next one which should be the launch. Am gonna talk to MOS further about it next week and Seal The Deal with a higher pay. I hope.
Everyone went back home with a smile and praising the both of me & Sean "Good Stuff". I was happy and I've not played to a filled up room as big as MOS in a while. Let's hope for more. Hope when you're reading this, you are listening to some good music on this chilled out Sunday evening! Cheerio!

BLEARGH!
Today started off very quick. First thing in the morning was not the usual Black Coffee & Smokes. I had to rush off to the casting place in Bangsar for the girls, Kimberly, Jeannie & Amanda. Got there and it was already half way done for Kimberly and she was just jumping with joy, I mean her facial expression and then they found a tattoo on her right shoulder which was a rose & the letter K. Why!? I guess when i went through her photos it was invisible or rather too small. She was cute and had the "somewhat perfect role" for the job. Anyways, after Kimberly, it was her best friend's turn, Jeannie. She's a gazer, i swear! She stares into blank space and can just wonder off to a different world. It was like we were not there. Funny! hehehe! so she did her part and it was all good. Amanda came one hour late and it was already our lunch time so we casted her for a bit and the coordinators said that she's not fit to be in the job. I felt bad to hear that because i thought she was okay ... I mean, for someone who looks like Lucy Liu of course it would be fine.
Anyways, they did the standard casting for her and it was done.
Lunch time! Abby was awesome enough to belanja me makan ... mmm yum yum. No one has belanja me in a while. Felt like a kid. hehe! thanks Abby! I had some Char Kway Teow and Beef Noodles at the shop a few steps away. So kenyang. A few minutes later Joey called to confirm everything for today. We have an interview to shoot at Gab's place with Jerome Sydenham. The man behind Apotek & Ibadan records. Quite a big name in the DJ world.
Am in the office right now having nothing to do because Turn It Up is not on the air for now. we're waiting for RED FM to get back to us about stuff so cross your fingers for us too! Hope it gets through.
I'm kinda worried about the MOS gig this friday. It's a huge space and if let's say there's 500 people in the club, it would still look empty! because it's fucking huge! and i mean WOW big! I've notified friends on FB, Gmail & my phone about it. I feel as though the response is not that great. I would love to put it up in magazines everywhere but the thing is, the confirmation was sort of last minute but it was nobody's fault. It's just promoting it. hehe. I wanna thank Patrick for the chance. Let's just hope it's gonna be a good one.

Another New Start!
Let me start from Thursday.
A boring day and work was easy. So i decided to head down to Sid's for a drink with the lady. Met up with Wah Mui and Janette ( I'm not sure of the spelling ) anyways, ordered a jug finished it with some chicken wings & snacks. After 2 hours of hanging out, i recieved a call from nick saying that he's gonna be at Library. So i went there. Again, full house. Russell & his band was performing on that night and we were seated right in front of the stage and seriously, i hate it having to shout all night. So, hung out and chit chat, bumped into a few friends of mine like Evangeline, Elaine, Double D, Justin and others. Met this lady who is an undercover Protestant. Her case was interesting to talk about. But, as usual, i wouldn't want to post about it here. Everything's in my head. Haha!
Headed to see Eve for a bit and she was with her twin sis & some friends. they were really young and i felt like an old bugger. so i decided to just leave that scene for a bit and went back to the table. A conversation about Nick liking some girl. I can't remember her name though but at least now he has an aim lah. She's one of the talents for TVCs. Apparently a hottie. So spoke of that.
Anyways, suddenly i woke up on a friday night and it was bizarre because i can't recall how i got home and why are pants half way down. haha! Friday was a busy day actually because first, i had the radio show, second, i had to send in talents for a Dove TVC. I called up Stephinie, Soraya & Natalie. Had lunch with them and we spoke about stuff and Stephie felt old and she said she wasted her youth in the airlines as a stewardess. I think she's still hot and she looks young. Anyways, i asked her why is someone like her still single? she replied "you know, when you're single for a while already, you just don't think about that stuff. Plus it's damn Mah Fan to Pak To with anyone right now. I wanna concentrate on my courier". But she did mention about the right guy not being around just yet. Natalie was busy with her Big Breakfast order at 5pm. haha! Eating a breakfast meal in the evening. She said "what!? don't ah! i just woke up wei!" so okay lorr she munched her pork and whatever lah.
It was already 6pm and the girls were just about to go for the casting. Nice photos were done. Soraya came in late due to the jam on the way there. But that was not bad at all. The serious hangover that pounds my head was just massive. I couldn't talk and kept stuttering my words. fuck! anyways, after all of that, i went back to the office but it was already too late. it was 7.30pm and i totally forgot that i was supposed to meet up with Brandon for the commercial. I was asked to compose & produce the music & sound design. So we pushed it to Saturday.
I went back home to rest for a bit while waiting for the time to go and check out the Kancil Awards with dearest babi! and it's funny how when we reached the lobby of the convention center we saw a haze of cigarette smoke clouding up the room. "Welcome to advertising" Esther said. Yeah! we know that we smoke a lot! It's simply loud and filled up with drunk producers, directors & AEs. I said hello to several people and after a while i couldn't be bothered to socialize because i was still tired so i looked at shoes. After all of that, we went to WIP in BSC. a cool place, that night it was just filled with the biggest people in the Advertising Industry. The folks from my Two AM days were there too. I had to pints, ordered for bibi a Lychee Daiquiri and for Shindee an original frozen margarita. Wasn't that great of a night. The DJ was just pumping the house tracks up to 135bpm and it was too damn fast. To my ears it was just noise. Aaaargh! I wanna go home.
Saturday came and I tried making music but my brain was not creative enough. Tired form i don't know what. But i decided to chill for a bit and try later tonight, after my mum's birthday dinner. haven't bought her anything yet. Broke already! Fuck! I should stop spending so much at bars and I think it's been more than RM2000 already man! I need a quiet week. I'm playing at MOS on the 6th Nov with DJ Dayshavoo and i have to get ready for that. Downloaded new tracks and i can't wait to play them all! i have 2 hours to play and it's not confirmed that i will be playing back to back with Sean aka Dayshavoo. Patrick Oliver, who is the resident there, might not allow it. See lah! Anyways, I wanna get some shut eyes for a while.

Pre Raya Give Away!
Hey Gang!
Yesterday was fun. Did the Raya Shoot for 8tv Quickie and seriously felt prosperous and gave away 100 copies of my album. Just for the fun of it. I really thought they were the last batch but turns out, there's one more box that's left at home. I think there are 20 plus copies left. Hehe! silly me.
The shoot was fun and the quickie team was funny as always, Zher, Prem and Henry were chirpy. I really don't know how they pulled it off. I know Zher was going for a holiday. That's why she was like that. Prem, i think he was greatful after the operation that he had to go through and Henry was Henry. Funny thing but cool about Henry's fashion sense, he wore a Blue baju melayu with his jeans but he folded it up as if he was going for a T.A.G night @ barsonic. Haha! when i say that, i heard simply the sounds of The Smiths in the background singing "Panic on the streets of London,"
Eventhough it was set out at a carnival, not many people came for the event. Infact, later that night, I was at the Illuminight show where Maliq N The Essentials, Atillia and other acts were playing to only a handful of people. The space looked ridiculously huge and there was reverb everywhere. Also at the MTV world stage, a friend said it was not that great. To his eyes there were just a few hundred that attended. Where are the proud, music loving malaysians? what happened to them? sigh, guess there are things better left unanswered.
Sunday today! Had some nice breakfast + lunch = brunch. Chicken rice never tasted so good. hahaha! When one is hungry, anything is good. Just finished watching the Hong Kong show called I Corrupt All Cops ( ICAC ). Talks of the corruption that happened in Hong Kong from the 60's - 70's. It's actually a good example of what is happening behind the curtains, if you catch my drift. I felt a little concerned after watching the show. It made me think twice about the country too. But, what can one person do? I'm no superman that can fly or throw a crook through a wall or have x-ray visions ( i think i will take advantage of that ) hahaha! Oh shut up! you will too! hahaha! Anyways, it just started raining and my "lazy boy nap time" comes as a package. Thanks for reading and following and digesting useless knowledge from me. Tell you what. Yesterday was fun. Did the Raya Shoot for 8tv Quickie and seriously felt prosperous and gave away 100 copies of my album. Just for the fun of it. I really thought they were the last batch but turns out, there's one more box that's left at home. I think there are 20 plus copies left. Hehe! silly me.
The shoot was fun and the quickie team was funny as always, Zher, Prem and Henry were chirpy. I really don't know how they pulled it off. I know Zher was going for a holiday. That's why she was like that. Prem, i think he was greatful after the operation that he had to go through and Henry was Henry. Funny thing but cool about Henry's fashion sense, he wore a Blue baju melayu with his jeans but he folded it up as if he was going for a T.A.G night @ barsonic. Haha! when i say that, i heard simply the sounds of The Smiths in the background singing "Panic on the streets of London,"
Eventhough it was set out at a carnival, not many people came for the event. Infact, later that night, I was at the Illuminight show where Maliq N The Essentials, Atillia and other acts were playing to only a handful of people. hello there. hope all is well on your side and if you're reading this. i say thanks for doing so. this is actually my first time blogging. feel like a geek already. how do i start this. hmmm. okay.
it's officially a wednesday morning, 12.23am now and i'm sitting on my chair typing out what i've done, what i'm doing and what i'm about to do in my checkered boxers and a green shirt that says ewww stay away from that colour but i like it. with the sound of skateboarders trying to fulfill a perfect trick. at this hour? things are getting slower by the day and as a drama queen ( king ), i think 23 is just a number that says " ooi ! lu sudah tua lorr ! ".
anyways, i think i'm about done "lepas berbual" and it still feels the same. useless action. oh yeah! today was an awesome agenda. work, work, work, work, work, work, waiting, work and work. if you're wondering what i do for a living, i'm actually a sound engineer, music producer and jingle artist for ' turn it up ' on capital fm 88.9 that goes on every monday - friday, 10pm - 1am. so yeah, once i was done with work, i moved on to the awesomest game that i'm experiencing for the 'mo' ( moment ). Dirt on Xbox ! and it's in the office too ! makes waiting on work a wee bit easy. started gambling. don't worry. it was just a ringgit ... that grew to rm10. ah well. i'm only human. so yeah, once going through the ordeal of the bad habit. i moved on to the curve for some Kim Gary for dinner. makan makan makan! met up with Amir of TWKUA for the parts of 'Bright Lights'. yea yea yea! a remix is coming up, which i'm supposed to be doing right now. hehe! anyways, movie time!
Bedtime Stories. it was a good show, but i thought Adam Sandler was a 'sell-out' ... what happened to his great ideas and acting in shows such as, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and bla bla bla! ah well. some people gotta make some 'moolah' (money , if you don't know, i didn't. haha)
now? i'm typing this out. ah yes! finally i remembered what i wanted to write about. the famous term "broke" ( miskin ). since we all know about the whole hullabaloo ( kekecohan ) recession year, which i think shouldn't hit us by 2010, i think it's a load of crap. at the end of the day, if you spend more, you make more. i think? ah well! what do i know about the economy, my dad is a banker and i think since the first day i popped out of my mama, i think the first word he said to me was "Save". haha! but too bad i'm the rebel in the family, i do the opposite. "notty nyer anak kak yah ( the infamous nickname for mama ) nih!". oh yeah! recession. the entertainment line has pulled back at least half of it's budget. every single payment has gone down. i personally think they read, hear or watch too much about the recession till i think they actually take half of the budget and keep it for themselves. which i think is unfair, but then again if i were to be them, i would do so. i know what you're thinking, "ah no! i won't, i would pay entertainers what they should get." sure. haha! just kidding or in the modern language, " JK !!! hihihihuhuhuhahahahehehehohoho! ". just two simple letters enough lah! aaaah!
i have to say sorry for not turning up for the Malaysian Youth 09 gig, i was sick and i couldn't sing. i wouldn't wanna sing to you when i'm sick! i don't want you to be sick or get sick of me by listening to me squeal, groan and shout my words out. eeergh! there would've have been some people saying things like, "ish! mamat nih! rambut je lebih, nyanyi tak leh!" that's i think lah. haha!
sorry! i "tengah melalut" ( blabbering ).
how i miss high school days! if i were you, just wish that you wouldn't grow older. but then again when you're 15, you wish for otherwise. yeah you know what! i take it back. sex is fun. anyways, in high school, i got the nickname 'bobo' for doing alot of stupid things in high school. or "M.C." which chinese dudes and dudettes ( aweks ) would know about. dudettes? i need schooling. anyways, i remember there was this one week where my bunch ( the jingga family, i'll get to that later ) brought a video camera and we started recording nonsense like disturbing people when they are taking their SPM trials, kacau the cikgu and the prefect stories. haha! okay! back to 'jingga' for a bit ...
there was once where i was playing with an uncle. i can't remember his name, he was rich, problematic but funny. no! hysterical! everytime he hits a bad shot. he would swear in a manner which was alright to my dad since he was there with me teaching manners. yeah! sure! 30 10 10s
6 2 2s, if you play golf, those are terms of gambling. it's obvious when there are numbers involved, there's money involved. anyways! back to the uncle. he aims, swings and the ball hooked the ball into the pond and i shit you not, this is what he says,
"mother-jingga betui bola bodo nih! nate' baboon!" ( imagine it in kelantanese )
so that's where it came from.
so yeah! prefect videos. we 'Samadians' find the prefects were asswipes because they have the discipline teacher's cain up their asses. that's why they are just to uptight with us or maybe we were always late, or having "ponteng" as our after recess schedule. so yeah! i wish i had the video so i could post them up. there's no point of talking about it now. i wish to have a play about our school days. so yeah! there you go. those are the things that i've done and the things i thought about today / tonight.
